Abstract

For thousands of years, the primitive tribes living in forests and hills have maintained their existence without having more contact with the people of open plains and civilization centers. Uttar Pradesh is benefited from the continuation of the Vedic period 1000 E. Pu to 600 E. Pu due to the dual processes of indigenization of the origins of the Hindus and the tribalization of the Aryans. Two epic-Ramayana and Mahabharat, whose historical importance and anything else refer to tribes like Shudra, Abhir, Dravid, Pulin, Shabri or Solar. One of these is most well known and it is probably the only tribe that exists today and whose earliest reference can be found in the Atreya Brahmin. She is the Shabri who presented the fruits to Ram. In the words of Warrior Elvin, 'Shabari has become a symbol of such contributions that the tribes can build and make life of India. At that time, most of the known tribes have been claimed in the Mahabharata and innumerable incidents. . Ek Bhal, a Bhil who had offered his thumb to Dronacharya, has been described as an ideal disciple in the legends. Munda and Nagas have claimed to fight against the Pandavas by the Kurus. Bheem's son Ghatovkach, who had demonstrated extraordinary heroism in the war, was born to Bhim's tribal wife, Hidimba. Arjun married a Naga princess Chitrangada.
