Avadh was a major area of ??north India, which was a major area of ??Uttar Pradesh state of north India of present-day India, which is almost similar to the present state of Uttar Pradesh. It has been an important place in Indian history since its ancient times. In the Mahajanapadas, the Awadh region was under Koshal Pradesh and Ayogya was its capital. According to the Valmiki Ramayana, it was started by Manu and it was completely settled by Manu's son Ikshvaku. 2 Avadh Valmiki is also associated with the events related to the life of Mahatma Gautama Buddha, the hero of Ramayana epic Ram and the founder and propagator of Buddhist religion. 3 The important dynasty of ancient Indian history like Maurya, Kushan, Gupta, Vardhan, Rajput etc. By the time of 11th Century, the history of Oudh appears unclear
