Abstract

The transverse momentum spectra of two heavier mesons, namely K*0 and ?-mesons, produced in different central lead-lead collisions at center of mass energy 2.76 TeV per nucleon at Large Hadron Collider have been analysed, systematically, in the light of a Tsallis non-extensive statistics. The study reveals the possible formation of a deconfined partonic matter in such central nuclear collisions at ultrarelativistic energy where the number of participant nucleons is comparatively large.
