Abstract

In this study we will discuss about Urbanization in India. Urbanization and economic development are closely associated. Economic development of a country indicates increase in the level of per capita income and standard of living along-with the enlargement of employment opportunities for its growing population. With the attainment of economic development and growing industrialization, the process of urbanization starts at a rapid scale.
