District Ghazipur Population Growth

Abstract

Quantitative changes occurring in a particular time in a population of a particular region are called population growth. This change is known as positive and negative growth. In the study area, Ghazipur, there has been an increase in the trend of natural population growth of the country, respectively. In 1901, the population of the study area was 91,3818; the population increased to 1140920 in 1951. Therefore, the growth of only 227102 persons (24.8 percent) in the population of five decades was due. In the period from 1951 to 2001, there was an increase in population (166%) during the period from 1st year 1901 to 1951 due to decrease in health services and outbreak of epidemics such as cholera, plague, chickenpox etc. due to decline in population during this period. Came In the study area, in 1921, the name of the separator was known as the population growth. In the decade of 1901-1911 (-8.11 percent) and in the decade of 1911-1921 (-0.88 percent), there has been a negative growth in the population, and in the decades after 1921, there has been a trend of positive growth in the population continuously. The rate of positive growth of the population was not the same. Between 1921 and 1931 ($ 5.55 percent), growth in the 1931-41 decade (19.44 percent) was decreased (15.82 percent) in the decade of 1941-51, but between 1951-61 (15.83 percent), 1961-71 Between middle (15.89 percent), 1971-81 (26.96 percent), 1981-91 middle (25.02 percent), between 1991-2001 (26.18 percent). In the decades after 1971, due to the increase in health services, mortality and birth rate were high, the population increased very rapidly.
