Abstract

There is enough light on the Yagna-land for the Deewayan in the Vedas-Jupiter. According to the Tattari Brahmin, the upper part of the land should be removed by mining work. So that the profane terrain should be removed from spitting etc. At that time, this mantra is called 'Suddanayamam'. It is believed that the land has to suffer some pain due to mining operations; Therefore, to calm him, experimenting with water symbolized by peace, the word "Aapo vai Shantta:" is pronounced mantra.
