Study of the Effect of Caste Class on the Adjustment of Students

Abstract

The study presented is to study the effect of caste class on the adjustment of students. A comparative study of adjustment of general, Other Backward Class and Scheduled Caste students as objective has been done. Post-study research method is used as the research method in the study. Keeping in view the nature of the present research, the study has included all the students belonging to all the caste groups studying in the colleges located in Prayagraj district in Uttar Pradesh as a population. Which is heterogeneous finite real population. Multilevel Nyadarshan method will be used for election of judges. In which a total of 300 students have been selected on the basis of caste category. The mental health schedule created by Dr. (Mrs.) Kamlesh Sharma was used to compile the data. The ANOVA (Variance) method has been used for data analysis. There is a difference in the adjustment of general, other backward class and scheduled caste students. Hence it can be concluded that caste has a positive effect on adjustment of students.
