Study of the Impact of Political Interest of Students Studying at the Graduate Level on their Academic Achievement

Abstract

The study presented is a "study of the political interest of students studying at the undergraduate level on their academic achievement". The effect of varying political interest of urban and rural students on their educational achievement has been seen as the objective of the study. In the presented study, an attempt has been made to see the cause and effect, hence the post-study research method has been used in the presented study. 100 urban and 100 rural undergraduate level students have been selected as random judges by random method. "Political Interests Questionnaire" created by Dr. Suresh Kumar Singh (Education Department), Sanjay Teachers Training College, Dausa (Rajasthan) and Dr. BB Pandey (Education Department), Deen Dayal Upadhyay University, Gorakhpur and measuring educational achievement as a tool. The marks obtained in the previous year's examination of the students have been used for. The variance (ANOVA) statistical method is used for data analysis. After analysis of the data, it was found that there is a difference in terms of educational achievement of students with high, medium and low political interest studying at the graduate level i.e. the academic achievement of students studying at the graduate level has the effect of political interest while urban and rural students The effect was not found on the basis of separate statistical analysis.
