Abstract

Puranas are ancient and still new texts. In these texts, an attempt has been made to sensitize the general public to human values ??by removing new meanings through folk tales. These texts contain many stories related to deities. The story of Sati, the story of his becoming Sati, the story of Shiva becoming Vishwanath, the story of the birth of Krishna and his pastimes, the story of the origin of various forms of Goddess in Devi Purana are full of legends.
