Abstract

The subject of the study presented is the study of the impact of socio-economic level on the creativity of English medium students studying at the upper secondary level. The study has constructed objectives based on gender. Keeping in view the nature of the study presented, the researchers have completed the study process with the X-post-facto research method. In the presented research, students studying in higher secondary level schools located in Prayagraj district have been considered as the population. The randomized method of selection of judges has been used in the study presented. In which 300 students of English medium studying in higher secondary level schools located in Prayagraj division have been selected. The study presented uses the 'Upadhyaya-Saxena Socio-Economic States Scale', created by Sunil Kumar Upadhyay and Alka Saxena, to measure the socio-economic level of students. The Passi Test of Creativity, created by Dr. K. K. Pasi, has been used to measure students' creativity. The aim of both the Hindi and English versions is to measure the creativity of students studying at the school level. ANOVA (F-ratio) statistical methods have been used to analyze data. After analysis of the data, it was found that the effect of socio-economic level was found on the creativity of the total students and students of English medium studying at the upper secondary level, whereas the effect of socio-economic level was not found on the creativity of the girl students. The reason for this may be that even today, the girls are stopped in the family, school, society and other places, while they are less motivated and the thinking of people in pursuing them is still behind.
