Manusmriti and Woman

Abstract

Our society will have to try to bring back the glory that women had in Vedic time and Manusmriti period. Their participation in religious rituals should be ensured. The society should make efforts to provide legal assistance to the traditional domestic violence victims by making them aware. Women are mother, sister, daughter, wife. Their relationship with the men of the family is very sensitive. Most of the rites of children are received from the mother. If the society is to be made happy, prosperous and advanced, then women should get protection in the society because physically they are weaker than men and cannot cope with the atrocities on them.
