Abstract

The word Mahabharata is derived from the sum of two words, in which the word Maha means the meaning of the significance and the word of India is related to the son of Dushyant who through Bharatvanshi's glorious saga and the war of the World War gets signal. At the same time, there is an indication of the glory of the then Indian society, culture, civilization, Vedas, Upanishads, history, mythology, devotional laws, planets, Nakshatraadry, Aryavarta culture. The above facts demonstrate the importance of Mahabharata. Seeing the derivation, the word Mahabharata is associated with the word aakhyan, which means historical poetry. Dr. Vasudevsharan Agarwal in Indo-Savitri wrote in relation to the naming and derivation of Mahabharata: "Both Kauravas and Pandavas are Bharatwanshi, so they are known by the name of India. In the name of the warriors, the name of the war was named according to the Panini Sutra.
