Abstract

In modern times, press is a powerful tool for maintaining dignity of human values ??and protecting human political and social rights. Edmund Burke, the great speaker and philosopher of England, has called it the 'chauth pillar' of the nation. In the Indian perspective, it is said that the Chaita place press after three pillars of our government - the legislature, executive and the judiciary. Although there is no separate provision or article for this in the Indian Constitution, then Article 191 (a) is kept under the right to freedom of speech and expression.
