Abstract
Kartikeya has been considered the head of the world family. They were born to kill the star monster. Many stories related to their birth have been mentioned by Gopinath Rao 1. Kartikeya has also been named as Skand, Kumar, Mahasen etc. According to Vasudevsharan Agarwal, Devsena's husband, son of Agni and son of Ganga, is the symbol of Viraat Prana or the life story, and that is the noun skand. 2. It can be said that under the Kartikeya many gods were included. The first mention of the word 'skunk' is in the Mahabashya of Patanjali. The commentator has mentioned Shiva, Skanda, and Vishal in the context of Acharya
