Abstract

The carbomates are relatively new group of synthetic insecticides. These are also antichaliesterase pesticides (Micnetto et. al, 1992). Carbamate pesticides are widely used to control Inarmful insects and agricultural pest it is more injurious to the liver of fish as compared to the other pesticides. The present paper deals with the study on fresh water fish coliafasciatus withcarbamates and their effect on protein level. Carbary was used as carbamate pesticides for biochemical studies. Table, 1 and 2 indicates a significant (P<0.05) does dependent decrease in total protein level in both muscles and liver tissue of fish Colisafasciatus exposed for 40% and 60% of 24hLC50 of carbaryl. Protein depletion in both muscles and liver tissue was observed at both the water temperature Exposure of 40% and 60% of 24h Lc50 of carbonyl resulted in adecrease of protein levels in muscle of Colisafasciatus to 80% and 72% at 160 and 78% and 68% of control at 280C respectively in case of liver also decreased.
