Abstract

The inter-relation between India and Nepal is not only as a neighboring country, but because of the historical, cultural, social and economic relationships that have been going on since ages. There are of course more countries adjoining our border, but there is no such equality, such closeness and close proximity to our emotions. Since ancient times, the same blood flow of sympathy has been flowing in the veins of these two countries. The polestone of the same culture and ideal has been giving way and direction to the progress of life of both. From that dark era of history, till the eyes and the eyes of the mind could not reach very clearly, there was an elitist thread connecting the conscience of the two countries. Most of the stories and legends on which the stones of ancient and history stand on the tall building of our past glory, most of them are also attached to Nepal in some form or the other. Shri Pashupatinath is the foundation of that attachment. Therefore, the flow of Nepal relations has been flowing between the rivers. And the state of relationships has been associated with us since ages.
