Abstract
In the Natya Parampara, Mahakavi 'Bhas' is prestigious in the leading position. Although there was a strong variant of dramatists in the time of Bhasa, in which Shudrak, Kalidas, Visakhadatta, Harsh, Bhattanarayana and Bhavabhuti etc. composed many plays, but still in the drama tradition, Bhasa is the first playwright. Details about the life story of Mahakavi Bhas are not received. He has not given any instructions in his respect for his own plays. On the basis of their creations, scholars say that in the "Pragyaayyugandhayaran", in the context of the life story of Bhasa, this appears to be the supreme Raj Bhakt Mantri. The study of their metaphors in relation to the birth place is evident from the fact that they have close links with Ujjayini and Magadha, in which one's birthplace and a karmabhoomi are possible. Nemichandshastri Ujjayini mentions the birthplace and the rajasthan as a work place.
