Abstract

Krishna Sobti is known as a strong Hindi writer. In his writings, the changing situation of the woman, her travels, her struggles are presented in a feminist perspective. A different image of women has emerged in Krishna Sobti's novels. These are images of a woman who has been marginalized till now. Feminist consciousness of Krishna Sobti has emerged in the works of "Dar se Bichhudi", "Friends Friends", "A Girl", "Sunflower of Darkness" etc. In the novels of Krishna Sobti, women are seen clutching to the tightness of patriarchy, living their lives in small pieces, struggling for their identities. The society has not treated women in a human manner till date, nor has it been accepted as a complete human being. That is why Krishna Sobti has expressed the inhuman and animalistic behavior of women in his writings, and blamed the patriarchal system for this. She also had to endure the opposition of all the patriarchal feudal forces for her sharp and critical writing of this different way, but still she persevered. After following Krishna Sobti's novel literature, it can be said that he has given a new perspective to the existence of women.
