Abstract

It is decided by some individuals to unite for common purposes and when they are organized to achieve those objectives then it is called as organization. When they get organized in such organizations, they get more power and they are successful in accomplishing their objectives. In the same background, organizations have been constructed in some form by people since time immemorial. The earliest organization of individuals was the family. Later, society and state developed in this background. Later, the nature of the state developed. Political awareness grew in the people and the tradition of building political organizations developed. Such organizations were also formed in social, religious etc. areas because there is strength in unity. This makes it clear that the real power lies in the organization itself. The association or organization is formed by various individuals to pool their power and achieve some set goal. There are several types such as social, economic, religious, political organizations were formed in the twentieth century. Women also did not lag behind in this area. Many organizations were formed by them for their rights even in foreign countries. In India too, before the attainment of independence, many women's organizations had been formed.
