Abstract

The region and period have been Mithila during the Mughal period. The stated facts and discoveries are proof of this. Many changes have taken place in prehistoric times. History of some period from Janak to Aaj Tak is also not available, which is the duty of historians to search. My own belief is that after the fall of Bajajisingh in Mithila, the princes who conquered Mithila, such as Hirak, Shishunag, Nandavansh, Mauryavansh, Shanuvansha, Kanva Rajkul, Satavahana, etc., history are available in very small quantities. If research is done about the princes associated with this period or any particular Rajkula, the answers to such unanswered questions will be found. Personally, I want to understand the history of the sangkal period. Especially of Pushyamitra's era. Thus, the history of any period of Mithila provides ample opportunity. Any period has saved many layers of history in its womb. I have a hunger to know, but at the age of 35 I would like young enthusiasts, explorers to reveal some new facts with the help of their sharp intelligence and modern techniques available.
