Abstract

The ancient princely state of Jaipur, situated in the middle of the Aravalli mountain range in the northeast of Rajasthan, has been famous for its glorious history and rich cultural heritage. This ancient land has witnessed the rise of many cultures. The history, art, splendor, literature, religion, philosophy are the heritage of long-term religious and cultural life, which introduces the present to all the colors of human life at that time. In the princely state of Jaipur, there has been a long systematic tradition of archival construction from 16th to 19th century. These inscriptions were engraved on inscriptions, monuments and copper plates by the rulers, feudatories and rich people here on the basis of their interest and available resources. Through which we get information about the political, social, religious, economic situation of the time. This rich heritage of the past engraved in the form of inscriptions not only gives knowledge of the socio-cultural system of the princely state of Jaipur, but also throws an important light on the making of the history of Jaipur.
