Abstract

In the promotion of the Upanishads, the name of Darashikoh is foremost. He gave shelter to Sanskrit scholars and with his help Darashikoh translated the Bhagavad Gita and 50 Unishad into Persian and wrote a devotional song. In a nutshell, it can be said that he became the center of liberal trends of that time and Hindus came to the belief that he is the incarnation of Akbar's soul. The name of Darashikoh became the symbol of the priest of philosophy for the upcoming saint.
