Abstract

The study presented is "study of correlation between mental health and academic achievement of students studied at undergraduate level". The purpose of the study is to study the correlation between the mental health and academic achievement of the students studying at the graduation level on the basis of gender and field. Considering the nature of the research problem, researcher has used the correlative method of descriptive research. In the form of demonstrations for present research, in the colleges located in Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh, 200 students of D.Ed. studies in which 100 students and 100 students have been selected. Keeping in mind the nature of current research, the researcher has been included in the study of D. Ed. Ad students in the colleges of Prayagraj district in Uttar Pradesh, as a research area, which is a heterogeneous limited real population. Mental Health Battery (mental health battery) manufactured by Arun Kumar Singh and Alpana Sen Gupta has been used to measure the mental health of undergraduate students. The product is being used for the purpose of testing the zero-hypotheses created after the compilation and computation of the paid-up process. The findings found that there is a positive correlation between mental health and academic achievement of students studied at the undergraduate level on gender and region basis.
