A critical study of the social status of Shudras in Manusmriti

Abstract
Literature and scriptures are considered to be the basis of the traditions and culture of a society, so literature is called the mirror of society because social etiquette is practiced in literature. The social contemplation that Praichan has done in Indian theology clarifies the condition of the society at that time. Manusmriti, a theological treatise written in 200 BC, is 'Vidhisamhita' which provides for social duties and laws. The traditions established by the Ved-wise, learned society and the conduct of the Maharishis who explain the essence of the Vedas and the customs established by the gentleman and the voice of Maharshi Manu's conscience have been included. The review of Manusmriti will be about the social traditions prevalent at that time, the position of Shudras focusing on social systems. It is believed that the influence of Smritikal still exists directly or indirectly in Indian society today, the effect of which is reflected in Indian laws i.e. Code of Conduct, before studying the social status of Shudras it is important to understand who the Shudras were. , How they originated and what was their power in the society.
