It is true that the history of Bihar itself has been considered as the history of India in ancient times because in the ancient times, the social and religious reform movement of Bihar had set the direction of the Indian renaissance. The meaning of renaissance here is that the emergence of new thinking in different directions because in those days from Bihar, even though the change of class system of society into caste system, centralized thinking in economic field, change from groupism in the political field to lordism, religious area The inclusion of superstition in place of scientific thinking and subjective thinking in place of social pluralistic thinking in cultural field etc. It is often seen that in ancient India social and Bihar was the center of religious reform. Whether it is the culmination of pre-Vedic period social system, political system, economic system, religious system, cultural system, Bihar's economic system, social system, political system, religious system and cultural system underwent radical changes in the post-Vedic period and they The change was unscientific. Originally two elements were working behind this change. The invention of iron and the use of chariot and horse, both gave rise to the Brahminical system. Because production exceeds consumption, it created such a lord who thought that society is divided into Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas and Shudras. Jainism also emphasized to establish a society based on truth and non-violence. It has also been considered as a Renaissance movement.
