Causes and Importance of Failure of Civil Revolt

Abstract

As far as the failure of the Revolt of 1857 is concerned, it is clear that the outline of the rebellion was very blurred. Second, the revolt's schedules were unclear. Third, there was a lot of uneasiness over the question of leadership. Fourth, in those days, Indian politics was turning around in the shadow of religion. The circumstances behind the fifth revolt were the policy from Awadh to Bengal. The strength of the sixth imperialist East India Company was insignificant before the insurgents were prepared. The Seventh rebels were accompanied by the Raje-Rajwada, which the imperialist East India Company had erected during the period of permanent settlement, in which about 86 per cent hoped that these landlords stood as a security wall in times of calamity and that too
