Abstract

Modernization coupled with poor storage format of ethno veterinary knowledge based on individuals' remembrance abilities and its transmission from generation to generation by word of mouth, has greatly endangered its survival and sustainability into the future. The resultant effect of which has been the realization of a great loss of very vital information. The rapid socio-economic, ecological and technological changes in people
