Abstract

The silk industry holds an important place in the national economies of India. It is especially one of the major industries in Korba district of Chhattisgarh state. This research paper has studied the problem and suggestions contributing to marketing in the development of silk industry in the context of Korba district of Chhattisgarh state. Beautiful bright silk is considered a protected and comfortable product due to being an environmentally friendly product made of a natural fiber protein. The main means of livelihood of the villagers here is to produce silk, which are based on natural and policy. But in the present time, not only for production and use of any item is to expand its sale. With production in large groups, the field of marketing can be developed not only in the country but also in foreign trade. Currently silk production is easy, but their marketing work is more juggle. Therefore, we should try to improve the marketing system using modern technical training programs. This research has studied problems / challenges in marketing of silk industry in the state of Chhattisgarh. And has suggested to reduce the problems faced by the development of silk industry.
