A Study of Iridium (III) and Palladium (II) Macromolecular Ligands for Polystyrene Functionalized with Sulfoxide Groups
Keywords:
iridium, palladium, O-bonds, palladiumAbstract
The creation and characterisation of iridium(III) and palladium(II) co-ordination complexes with various polymeric sulfoxides have been covered in the current work. According to the experimental results, macromolecular sulfoxide groups in polymeric sulfoxide can form O-bonds with hard metal ions to coordinate them. Although the palladium (II) system is useful for hydrogen transfer catalysis, it ineffectively catalyzes the acetylene cyclotrimerization process, possibly due to steric inhibition.
