Abstract

The present century is the time of prohibition of bondage in the name of social decorum. Ignoring the marginalization of the society, they have struggled for their identity and registered their meaningful presence among the equals. An honest effort in the struggle for identity is to write one's autobiography and explore one's identity in the perspective and social situation of entire humanity. The tradition of women writers is long, but this research article explores the culture of autobiography of Hindi writers who had the courage to introspect and express their destiny amidst male dominance and their destiny.
