Abstract

The study presented is "a study of the ability of secondary level students in terms of their socio-economic level". Subsequent research methodology has been used in the presented study. As a population, the students studying in the secondary schools of Prayagraj district have been considered as population. As a model, 169 students of secondary level Class-9 and 10 have been selected at random. As a tool, the 'Adyadhyay-Saxena Socio-Economic States Scale' created by Sunil Kumar Upadhyay and Alka Saxena and the adjustment list of Dr ASP Singh and Dr RPS Singh has been used. For statistical analysis the variance (ANOVA) statistical method and T-ratio have been used. In terms of socio-economic level, there was a difference in the emotional, social and educational as well as overall adjustment of the students. Efforts are being made in the government, non-government and private sectors to reduce this variation, but to increase the adjustment capacity of the middle and lower socio-economic level students, they have to study the higher socio-economic level students. Along with the cooperation, teachers should also provide support to them and students of middle and lower socio-economic levels Issues the parents and guardians of their children, and they should focus on emotive, social and educational integration of economic barriers can not help you to get motivated to try to increase their adjustment capacity should.
