Critical study of Anthakarana as Illustrated in vedantha in the reference of Yoga and Ayurveda

Abstract

Thus, according to the Sruti, the consciousness attached to objects, which is an obstacle to the knowledge of the nature, wanders the true being in the cycle of the world. The consciousness concerning the Brahman alone, however, is the means of liberation. Therefore, even in the scriptures of salvation, consciousness must be considered in Vedanta. Therefore, this thesis presents the Advaita view on the nature of the consciousness with priority and the similarities and differences according to the views of Yoga and Ayurveda on that subject.
