In this paper we present a calculation of the angular distribution of light for the spherical particles. Scattered light patterns produced by spherical transparent particles of a wide range of diameters and for a useful range of forward scattering angles (0-360o) are calculated by using Lorenz-Mie theory . A detailed comparison of the results leads to a definitive assessment of the accuracy of Lorenz-Mie theory in the forward direction.
