Abstract

OOS (Optical Oscillator Strengths) provides confidence about the reliability of the wavefunctions that are employed in the matrix elements. Ridder and Schneider1, Peterson et al.2,3 and Dahl et al. have studied several transitions in P4+ ions of the sodium isoelectric sequence in ion-atom collision experiments. In this paper, we have carried out a study of oscillator strengths (fl and fv) and transition probabilities (al and av) for the inner-shell excitation 1s22s22p63s 2se1/2 ®1s22s22p53s2 2p01/2 transition in the sodium isoelectronic sequence.
