Abstract

When we look at the history of the first half of the twentieth century, we come across an astonishing fact. This was a transitional period in the history of India and all the great people who descended during this period were rich in multidimensional personalities. This applies to all the sages like Gandhi, Nehru, Arvind Ghosh, Vinova Bhave, Rabindranath Tagore etc. These individuals were not only politicians, social reformers or economists, but also belonged to the tradition of saints, whose origin can be considered from Shankar. If these pioneers of Indian culture could not fulfill their role, then we could not even imagine the Indian psyche of today. It is true that our present is not according to our expectations, the evil tendencies which are being propagated today are totally against the sentiments of these sages.
