Abstract

The topic of empowerment of girl students is becoming a burning issue all over the world including Chhattisgarh for the last few decades. Girls and women can no longer wait for equality. Since higher education helps in improving our society, girls pursuing higher education should be kept in mind along with the issue of women empowerment. Therefore, in the present paper it is proposed to study the level of women empowerment of girl students in higher education in rural areas of Raigad district. The main objective of the present study was to find out the level of empowerment of girl students in relation to decision making in higher education.
